Responsibilities:
- As our first marketing & communication manager, you’ll work directly with the founders to build and implement a research-driven marketing strategy across our target markets.
- Market Research & Consumer Insights: Deep dive into market analysis and understanding our customers.
- Measurable Objectives: Develop a robust measurement framework to demonstrate marketing’s ROI.
- Strategic Development: Define target segments, clear positioning, build effective funnels, and execute impactful campaigns.
- Creative Toolbox Development: Guide creative agencies and freelancers, building a rich resource of assets.
- Channel Strategy & Media Approach: Develop a comprehensive media strategy across relevant channels.
- Brand Tracking Framework: Establish key metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor brand performance.
- Global Brand Investment Strategy: Allocate budget across markets, balancing brand building and performance marketing.
- Lead Local Implementation: Translate the global brand plan into actionable local strategies. This involves:
- Overseeing Local Partners: Manage relationships with local agencies and creative partners.
- Implementing Local Media Strategies: Collaborate with media partners to execute targeted campaigns.
- Local Content Production: Develop engaging social media content, both independently and with creative partners.
- Consumer Experience Focus: Continuously analyze and optimize the customer journey.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track KPIs, analyze brand tracking data, and provide quarterly reports.
- Budget Management: Oversee budget allocation and ensure responsible spending.
- Contribute to the future growth of the marketing department: As our first dedicated marketing hire, you’ll shape the future of the department, building a team that reflects our company’s spirit.
Who are you?:
- Marketing Acumen, Not Guru Status: We value proven expertise over self-proclaimed marketing gurus. A proper education and strong understanding of marketing principles is required. Familiarity with the work of M.Ritson, L.Binet, B. Sharp, and J. Romaniuk on marketing effectiveness is definitely a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in brand management and/or marketing within a marketing department or branding,advertising agency.

- Open to the world: You’re comfortable working with diverse teams and navigating different perspectives.

- Fluency in English and French (reading, writing, speaking), knowledge of Dutch, or a willingness to learn is very nice.
