Mission
- To plan and lead the sustainability strategy and elaborate the ESG Strat Plan
- To steer programs and initiatives in line with the strategic priorities of the ESG strategy
- To define objectives, identify and track performance indicators
- To communicate the organization’s sustainability efforts
Key responsabilities
- To develop and implement ESG strategies, policies, and frameworks that align with the organization’s values and goals.
- Conduct thorough ESG assessments and identify key sustainability risks, opportunities, and performance indicators.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG practices across various business functions, including operations, supply chain, human resources, and finance.
- Monitor and report on ESG performance, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and reporting frameworks (e.g., CSRD).
- Engage with stakeholders, such as investors, customers, and communities, to communicate the organization’s sustainability efforts and foster meaningful relationships.
- Stay updated on emerging ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory developments to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Specific expertise
- Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, ESG frameworks, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in conducting ESG assessments, analyzing data, and identifying material issues.
- Familiarity with ESG reporting standards and frameworks (e.g., CSRD) and experience in preparing sustainability reports.
- Ability to develop and implement ESG strategies, policies, and frameworks tailored to the organization’s objectives and industry.
- Financial acumen to link sustainability initiatives to business value and articulate the financial implications of ESG practices.
- Experience in conducting stakeholder engagement and managing relationships with investors, regulators, NGOs, and other key stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management, data analysis, and utilizing ESG-related software tools.
A combination of education and professional experience in sustainability, business management, finance, or related fields.
Prior experience in sustainability consulting, corporate social responsibility is a plus.
