UI/UX designer with front-end skills

  • Availability: 60-100%
  • Languages: NL/EN (FR and/or ESP are a plus)

Your Tasks: 

  • UI Design: work on user interface designs in modern design apps. We mainly use Figma but are always looking to improve our workflows. You will be working on app screen designs, design systems, website designs, assets like icons and more.
  • Front-end: use your front-end skills, with a designer eye, to carry out specific front-end tasks related to implementing your designs in the browser.
  • UX research: work on research tasks such as user interviews, usability testing, desk research, and stakeholder interviews

Your skills:

  • Excellence: We are looking for a designer who can combine aesthetics in user interface design with a strong sense of usability
  • Strong ability to learn: You are naturally curious and you constantly teach yourself new skills as the world around us changes
  • Speed: you know how to design and iterate fast. While you will get plenty of time to iterate on your designs and reach a high quality level, we are looking for someone who knows they are a fast worker and can iterate with the speed that high-end UI design work requires.
  • Excellent communicator, both orally and written, in English and Dutch

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in digital design and development, interactive multimedia design (e.g. Devine, IMD), or equivalency in years of working experience
  • At least 4 years of working experience
  • Fluency in Dutch (native or professional level)
  • You live in Belgium

Extra:

  • Experience in an agency context
  • Proven skills with multiple front-end frameworks
  • Proven experimentation with AI coding
  • Spanish and/or French language skills
