The Maffia and a theater venue are looking for a freelance Digital Marketeer.

Your role

Develop a social media and content strategy in line with the identity, house style, and objectives of the festival;
Create a feasible content plan for the period before, during, and after the festival and translate the atmosphere and uniqueness of the performing arts festival into accessible content;
Devise formats and stories suitable for Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant channels;
Write strong, clear, and engaging social copy in Dutch, with a feel for the tone of voice of the festival and the organization;
Create/edit photos, videos, reels, stories, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, etc. yourself;
Take into account the festival's co-creation concept: for, by, and with children/youth;
Involve one or more youth reporter(s) in developing and creating (part of) the content and manage them;
Maintain the festival website (independently learn and manage the CMS).

Your profile

Completed an education in digital marketing, social/digital media, content creation, digital design, or equivalent through demonstrable experience;
Has already had a first professional experience (preferably at least 2 years) within the field of digital marketing/content creation;
Is a creative, flexible creator with a strong sense of storytelling;
Knows what is relevant and trending among young people and their digital world;
Can listen to children and youth and let their voices resonate authentically in the communication;
Quickly masters a CMS;
Expresses themselves fluently in Dutch and can write flawlessly;
Has a great passion for theater/performing arts;
Can work independently, but also enjoys involving the team and is open to input;
Does not shy away from evening or weekend work;
Has knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and possibly After Effects (or works with compatible, equivalent programs).
