The Maffia works with one fixed margin of 80 euro per day worked, no percentage on the day rate. So you always see which part goes to the professional and which part goes to us.
Professionals pay nothing to become a member, and only from 20 days worked an annual contribution of 225 euro. Clients only pay for days actually worked.

Fee (for freelancers)
Remember: it is not freelancers who are too expensive, but the margin added on top of your day rate that puts your price under pressure.
At The Maffia we keep our margin low. That way you as a freelancer can charge the price you deserve, it stays affordable for the client, and The Maffia can keep going.
Where other companies add a 30% margin on top of your day rate, The Maffia charges a fixed fee of €80/day.
We communicate this to both you and the client. Transparency is a top priority for us!
What else do we ask of you?
For assignments longer than 20 working days:
- No assignment, no fee.
- If you sign a contract with the client for an assignment of a week or longer, you pay €225.
- This fee covers one year, for an unlimited number of assignments.
- The fee is only renewed if you are still working through us.
- No more assignments = no more membership fee (it is not renewed automatically).

No, creating a profile is free and takes about three minutes. You only pay something once you actually start an assignment through The Maffia. Your profile also stays visible when you are temporarily unavailable.
You invoice per service period, usually monthly, and we follow up on payment with the client. The administrative follow-up and the contractual arrangements run through us, so you only need to submit your timesheets.
Always. You decide which assignments you consider and which you decline, with no consequences for future proposals. We only ask for a quick response so the client is not kept waiting.
